The Busy Peacock

One of Victoria Discovers craft loving younger representatives took a trip to The Busy Peacock in Tyabb on the Mornington Peninsula the day before Halloween for some spooky fun. Here is how they got on…

Being a huge fan of Mr Maker, you could say that I am something of a craftaholic. So when mummy suggested we ventured over to the Busy Peacock for some messy play, I was rather excited. After parking up in the large free car park, my first point of action was to put on a smock. You know how important it is to keep the big people happy to stop them from moaning. Anything for an easy life hey 😉

There is so much to do here. I gave the car a good clean,

Sorted out the pumpkin patch,

Checked out the flys on the windows,

But the main reason I had come here was to get creative (without mummy complaining that I had made a mess). And if you are as creative as I am, the Busy Peacock is the place for you.

Painting, sticking, cutting, colouring you name it, this place has it all.

Sessions normally last for 45 minutes, however, if you come on a Wednesday like we did you can drop in anytime from 9.30 to 12.00 noon for unlimited sensory fun.

And don’t forget to check out The Hungry Peacock afterwards for a drink or a snack.

Small ideas members also receive their first play session at Busy Peacock for free…
