Season’s Greetings – FTG

Victoria Discovers was invited by Frankston Theatre Group (FTG) to see their performance of ‘Season’s Greetings’ by Alan Ayckbourn. A hysterical comedy about family and friends gathering together at the festive season to be joyful and merry together. What on earth could go wrong …

Set in the festive decorated Mount Eliza Community Centre, the audience is welcomed to a glass of sherry and cabaret seating where BYO drinks and snacks is strongly encouraged.

It is the brilliant insight of timing, interactions and reactions that has allowed Director Leah Osburn to take this already funny script into a laugh out loud production.

Lisa Johnson (Belinda) played a whimsical, frustrated wife who was not shy in revealing her inner temptrus. Johnson gave a phenomenal performance which had the audience roaring with laughter. Absolutely brilliant Lisa!

The Frankston Theatre Group Inc have once again raised the bar on their already excellent reputation. A fantastic cast, a fantastic crew and a fantastic set equals a tremendous production.
