Victoria Discovers was invited by Sea Life Melbourne to experience their behind the scenes and glass bottom boat tour.
The tour began by putting on a life jacket and entering a glass bottom boat. It is strongly advised to wear closed shoes as our representative wearing thongs found out and had to be supplied with a temporary pair.
The boat then sets sail over the iconic aquarium giving a view of sharks, stingrays and many other predators of the sea which is not normally accessible to the general public.
We were then able to watch the hand feeding of some of the huge Mantas. Though make sure to step back as these beauties jump and make a huge splash.
It was a completely surreal experience watching major oceanic predators swimming over people in the famous tunnel below us.
This incredible experience is a must do experience for anyone who loves predatory oceanic fish and the ocean.
