When thinking of the Mornington Peninsula, it’s easy to automatically think about great wineries and incredible beaches. However, Victoria Discovers took a trip to Red Hill to check out some of the phenomenal works the National Trust team and volunteers have bern carrying out at Endeavour Fern Gully.
Pulling up in the large free car park, we set off down the marked orange trail in search of boardwalks and wildlife.
This easy 1km round trip is a fantastic walk for younger children and those wanting a low key bush walk. However, due to some of the narrow pathways and uneven surfaces it would be unstable for those requiring walking aids including prams and wheelchairs.
