Victoria Discovers were invited by Melbourne River Cruises to board their 2 hour return sightseeing cruise from Southbank, or Federation Square, in the CBD to Williamstown.
Victoria Discovers were welcomed aboard by the happy, helpful crew to sail down the Yarra and take in the sights.
We were delighted to discover that there are toilets;
As well as complementary tea, coffee, water and sunscreen all available on board.
Although the vessel is fully covered in order to protect against Melbourne’s unpredictable weather.
There are plenty of large windows and the public are permitted to go out on deck to take in some of the incredible sights.
Once docked at Williamstown, return passengers are given the option to stay aboard and return to the CBD or disembark and return on a later boat.
On this occasion, Victoria Discovers decided to disembark in order to discover Williamstown.
Though do make sure to check return times as the boats are unable to sail under the Yarra’s low bridges during high tide.
For a sightseeing trip suitable for all age groups, why not jump aboard a Melbourne River Cruise and view the city from a whole new perspective. Also note small ideas members are able to purchase tickets 2 4 the price of 1!!!
