Victoria Discovers headed over to check out one of the Mornington Peninsula best kept secrets. The boardwalk through the coastal wetlands of Warringine Park in Hastings.
Victoria Discovers parked up in the small free car park located on Salmon Street, which is located next to the swinging gate entrance (on the right).
The small flat track meanders round to the start of the boardwalks.
Make sure to look over the bridge to see the hundreds of camouflage crabs running to hide in their holes.
The track stretches to 4km each way. These fascinating wetlands are busting with all sorts of wildlife.
Though this track is flat and durable for those requiring walking aids, Victoria Discovers would like to point out that some parts of the boardwalk do not have fencing. This may be a hazard for young children on bikes or scooters.
Warringine Park is fun for all ages. Adventure just waiting to be discovered.
