Victoria Discovers took a trip upto the Kinglake National Park to chase some waterfalls. Here is a review of our discovery at Wombelano Falls.
After parking in the free car park, Victoria Discovers took the 1.5km return signed route to the lookout of Wombelano Falls.
Walking through the dense lush green forest we where faced with evidence of the horrendous bush fire that devastated the whole area during the Black Saturday bush fires of 2009.
It is worth noting that though only a short walk, the track is very steep and does include steps which would be unsuitable for prams, young children and those requiring walking aids.
The platform gives an incredible overview of the 90m waterfall cascading over the lush gully below.
Victoria Discovers would recommend visiting Wombelano Falls after heavy rainfall in order to see and hear the waterfall in its full glory.
